Brendan McNamara Residential Architecture

This remodel of a 55’ steel cruising yacht is an example of how much can be done with limited space and was permanent home for three adults and up to seven guests with ample range of recreational and survival equipment.

Concealed within the boat were the mechanics to handle propulsion, electricity, water, and sewerage etc. The warmth of natural wood radiates throughout, but is not allowed to take over and produce a “dark” interior. Windows were sufficient for light and vision, but not so large to risk failure under the onslaught of the sea.

The classic example of, “a place for everything, and everything in it”.
